Rosemary Leaves
Aromatic shrub from the Mediterranean regions, where it grows in coastal and low mountain areas. It has been cultivated since ancient times as an ornamental plant in gardens for its aroma and is also easy to grow in pots.
It is used to flavour bottled oils and vinegars for seasoning salads and other dishes.
It usually accompanies roast meats such as lamb, game and fish. Season soups and sauces with tomato, prepare meat preparations such as marinated pork loin, or cheeses.
